Under its strategy plan, together with communication, dissemination and knowledge generation, Fundación LAB Mediterráneoprovides support for existing leading initiatives in matters relating to entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and research in order to fulfil its mission to turn the Region of Valencia into a national and European benchmark in these four areas.

In his intervention, Dominguisstated thatas a family-owned business, sustainability fits very well with our strategy. Aware of the need to generate a positive impact on the decarbonisation and sustainability of the planet, we decided to create an open innovation portal called Blue Ventures six months ago, to attract ideas that are in line with our goals and our four blue oceans, and in which, in a very short time, people have been participating  actively”.

For his part, Rafael Rosell, underlined the fact that cybersecurity and technology have been in vogue for a relatively short time, but the breakthroughs are happening faster and faster. This has required us to have a strong culture of innovation from our origins because it is linked to our fundamental purpose. We set up S2X to promote intrapreneurshipand allocate resources to implement colleagues’  ideas, on the one hand, and, on the other, to avail of the talent of the rest of the world, by launching open innovation challenges arising from our needs or those of our clients”.
