Fundación LAB Mediterráneo reinforces its commitment to SMEs in the Region of Valencia with EDEM’s SuperPymes programme

Valencia, 1 March 2024.- Fundación LAB Mediterráneo, a project promoted by the Employers’ Association of Valencia (AVE), offered the SMEs participating in the “II Unlimited Mentoring”, last October, the opportunity to take a business management course at EDEM Escuela de Empresarios. 

The main objective of the SuperPymes course is to train entrepreneurs who participate by providing them with knowledge in the main areas of business management. 

The companies participating in the program were: Aletreo, Azigrene Consultores, Bioinicia, ESAT Valencia, Grupo Cano Lopera, Kaizen Consulting Europa, Monser Electricidad, ¡Oh My Cut!, Perseo Biotechnology, Quasar Dynamics, Semeve Medios Publicitarios, Solatom and Urbanclean. 

During the course, attendees enjoyed theoretical-practical sessions on topics applicable to the day-to-day life of companies, including: Business Persuasion and Sales Capacity Building”, with Eduardo Rosser (Rosser Management); Corporate innovation and in Startups with Teresa Cercós (Importaco); Finances, by Eva Chornet (Hilarem Interim Management); Business Management Strategy. Strategy plan, conceptual framework and methodology, given by José Manuel Herráiz (Levantina Group); Communication and leadership, with Paloma Moreno (Paloma Moreno); Fiscality, given by Jorge Tamarit (Tamarit Asesores). The last session on productivity was led by David Salvador (Nespra), followed by the closing talk given by Manuel Palma (Palma Group). 

Moreover, on each day of the event there was a lunchtim colloquium where the attending companies were able to talk and present different ideas together with the foundation’s directors and trustees: Javier Torronteras, training director of Verne Technology; Myriam Gimeno and Guillermo Berlanga, CEO and Chief Innovation Officer of the Gimeno Group; Neus García, Head of Communications at Marina de Empresas; and Héctor Dominguis and Adoración Arnaldos, CEO and Director of Innovation at GDES. 

Fundación LAB Mediterráneo’s Unlimited Mentoring aims to help SMEs in the Region of Valencia overcome technology and innovation challenges, thanks to the experience and learnings of leading entrepreneurs in these areas.

Fundación LAB Mediterráneo is a project created by AVE with the mission of positioning the Region of Valencia as a national and European benchmark in entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and research.

To achieve this, it has set itself five objectives: to promote the creation and attraction of technology start-ups; to work to attract national and international technology companies to set up in the Region of Valencia and create a ‘tractor effect’; to promote support for companies in non-technological sectors to accelerate their digital transformation; to contribute to increasing private investment in R&D&I; and to help promote research.
