In 1999 he joined Iberdrola's International Area, where he was in charge of controlling the management of investors. Subsequently, from the Corporate Strategy Department, he participated in the preparation of the Iberdrola Group's Strategic Plan and the monitoring of its execution.

In 2010 he joined the Perseus Department, in the Innovation Department, where she is Responsible for the Economic-Financial Analysis of the program. She is also a member of the Investment Committee created by Iberdrola and CDTI for the approval of operations within the framework of the conversion agreement with INVIERTE and a director of Basquevolt, an Iberdrola investee company for the development of solid-state batteries.

He has 13 years of experience working in Corporate Finance and Private Equity. He has developed his professional career in companies such as LE.K. Consulting, Telefónica, UN ECOSOC, Grupo Guascor, and Dresser-Rand. In August 2015 he began his career in the Basque public sector. First as Director of Foreign Promotion at the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, and then as Director of Strategic Projects until October 2020. In November 2020 he became the Director of the new Global Development area of the Basque Culinary Center, in charge of leading the internationalization of the center and the expansion of the BCC as a global reference actor, leading new proposals in which entrepreneurs, students, academics, companies, and researchers interact, creating for them international startup accelerator programs, financial tools for investment in technology and a unique multidisciplinary innovation center. Graduate in Business Studies from the University of Valencia and Graduate in Business Administration and Management from UNIR. He has been working at Banco Sabadell since 2007, always in areas related to the business segment. Since 2015 he has been a BStartup advisor. ​

Advisor for the Eastern Territorial Management of Banco Sabadell. He regularly participates as a speaker or mentor in programs to accompany startups in recognized incubators and accelerators, and also as a jury member in initiatives and awards for startups. He is the driving force behind the Startups&Investors Connect cycle co-organized by Banco Sabadell and Valencia City Council since 2017, which has been running for more than 20 editions.

She has a degree in Information Sciences and for more than 10 years she worked as a journalist. Ten years ago she changed direction in her career to enter the world of data and people. In 2015 she participated in the origin and creation of Zeus Smart Visual Data, where she is currently CEO.​​

Shortly afterward, she joined the Sesame HR project, an HR software, which allows the digitalization of all bureaucratic human resources processes; and it currently has more than 5,000 clients, more than 150,000 users, and is present in 30 countries in Europe and Latin America. And of which Majo Castillo has been Operations Director for the last two years.

 

 

Araceli Císcar.

Executive Director of Dacsa Group

Student of the Instituto Negocios San Telmo, where she has completed the Food Business Management Programme (DEA) and Senior Management of Food Chain Companies.Currently executive director of Dacsa Group, she began her professional career at Banco de Valencia in 1979 where she worked for seven years. In 1986, she joined the company Dacsa, a family business founded by her father Ricardo Ciscar in 1968 and dedicated to corn and rice milling. After working in different areas, with different responsibilities and periods of training, he took over the management of the corn area, promoting and leading international expansion and promoting new markets.

During the last 10 years, he has created and promoted the new business area Food Solutions, from where all the innovative activity of the company is developed, as well as investment and growth in new sectors related to new trends in the world of food. He has also led and strengthened DACSA's relationship with entrepreneurs and startups, which is currently reflected in numerous investee companies in different sectors, which are supported by the Group in its strategy and growth.

 

 

Héctor Dominguis.

He holds a degree in Materials Engineering from Imperial College London and an MSC Management from Surrey University. He also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from ESADE and a Management Development Programme (PDD) from IESE. ​

In 2010 he was awarded Innovator of the Year of the Valencian Community by the newspaper El Mundo and Entrepreneur of the Year of the Valencian Community and Murcia by Ernst & Young. Member of the Board of Directors of the Valencian Association of Entrepreneurs (AVE) and former president of the Spanish Nuclear Society.

 

 

Alejandro Escribá.

Director of the Chair of Family Business at the UV.

Professor of Business Organisation at the UV. Associate researcher at the Ivie, where he directs the Observatory of Corporate Governance, Strategy, and Competitiveness. He is also the director of the Chair of Family Business at the UV. University lecturer in the area of the business organization since 1993. Specialized in the study of management teams and corporate governance, the characteristics of ownership, and the relationship of these aspects with the strategy and competitiveness of companies.

He has been awarded 3 six-year research periods and 1 six-year transfer period. Author of numerous papers published in scientific journals and technical reports of an applied nature. He was a member of the Board of the European Academy of Management and organized the EURAM congress in Valencia in 2014. He has been the principal investigator of competitive research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and the Generalitat de Catalunya. Competitiveness and the Generalitat Valenciana, In the practical field, he actively collaborates with various companies and institutions, both in the development of strategic plans for internationalization or advice on strategic alliances and mergers and/or acquisitions, as well as in the structuring of their corporate governance bodies.

 

 

Raúl Martín.

Corporate General Manager of Familia Martínez and CEO of KM ZERO

Degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and PDG from IESE. He was founder and president of the Valencian Association of Startups until January 2019 and his professional career has always been linked to the management of business projects with a focus on innovation, investment, and the entrepreneurial environment.

During his extensive career, which includes positions of responsibility in the private and public sectors, he has been Director General of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Generalitat Valenciana v responsible for the winning candidacy of the Comunitat Valenciana for the European Entrepreneurial Region 2015 award, as well as head of the Telefónica OpenFuture ScaleUp program and co-founder and president of the Valencian Association of startups (Startup Valencia). In the last year of his career, he also founded the technology company VSoft. He was awarded by the IDEAS Institute of the UPV in 2013 for his activity as an entrepreneur.

 

 

Paloma Mas.

Events & culture manager at Plug and Play

Graduated in Audiovisual Communication and Advertising, and Public Relations. After working in various media, she specialized in digital communication and technology companies. She was part of the team that started the Google Campus Madrid project through the company TechHub, where she was the Manager of its entrepreneur hub. He later joined Plug and Play, the global open innovation platform born in Silicon Valley.

 

 

Javier Megias.

Managing partner for EMEA VC Funds at Plug and Play

Investor and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience in venture capital, corporate venturing, and startups. Having co-founded two startups and a strong technology background, he is an experienced operator with a hands-on approach to investing. As an optimist, Javier believes in the transformative power of technology to create opportunities and change lives. With this vision, he has invested in and supported companies in various ways, first as a business angel, then through various investment vehicles, and in his latest role as a venture capital investor through Bankinter VC.

Javier currently holds the position of Managing Partner for Plug and Play Tech Center's EMEA Fund, where he focuses on identifying new investment opportunities, managing the VC fund strategy in the region, and reinforcing the firm's European expansion.

D. in food systems rheology and a degree in biochemical engineering from the University College of London. He also has completed the Venture Capital Executive Program at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a partner in AgriFoodTech's practice.​

He has over two decades of experience in the Agrifood sector. Specifically, he was responsible for innovation and product development at companies such as Pascual Innoventures, Nestlé, GBFoods, and Northern Foods. He has led several investments in the sector and has extensive connections in the European ecosystem. He is a mentor at EIT Foods, the EU-backed innovation agency for the Agrifood sector.​

He was founder and president of the Valencian Association of Startups until January 2019 and his professional career has always been linked to the management of business projects with a focus on innovation, investment, and the entrepreneurial environment.

During his extensive career, which includes positions of responsibility in the private and public sectors, he has been Director General of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Generalitat Valenciana v responsible for the winning candidacy of the Comunitat Valenciana for the European Entrepreneurial Region 2015 award, as well as head of the Telefónica OpenFuture ScaleUp program and co-founder and president of the Valencian Association of startups (Startup Valencia).
